NIKE JAPAN


So much of running is about flow and how you feel.
The Nike Free running shoe is designed to remove distraction
and allow you to move more naturally, enhancing that flow.

We worked with 8 of Japan’s most exciting music producers
to explore the feel of running.
 
Each producer composed a track in multiple stems,
with variable BPM, melody and instrumentation.

Based on your Nike+ Running data - speed fluctuations,
changes in direction, distance - as well as environmental shifts
like the temperature and weather,
 
Nike Run Track would compose a unique song for every single run.

We built a lightweight web app and desktop site with our technical partners,
Rhizomatiks, which also visualised your run data in relation to the music,
with both the original songs and live visualisations taking centre
stage at a campaign launch party in downtown Tokyo.
